It was just Cameron and I today because Anne stayed overnight for work training. I picked him up from school, ate some KFC (his favorite!)and played at the park, ate some ice cream, and headed home to play cops in our driveway. He was also my special assistant for testing my photo booth. We had lots of fun tonight, but we are ready to see mommy.
My brother and niece came over after work today. As you can see, Taylor and Cameron had fun performing. I think a couple of these could be album covers for Cameron's music CD. Ha!
After last week's family fun vacation in South Carolina, it was back to reality. That meant going back to school for Cameron and back to work for us today. Cameron was excited to go to school to tell everyone about Charleston, the ocean, and all of the sandcastles we built. Here he is playing around with the new trash can. Oh! the things he can find to entertain himself. He's funny like that.
We are back from vacation and I thought Cameron would have been more tired since we got home at 3am. But he slept really well on the ride home. I think he was still excited from the whole trip. To get him even more excited we found some bubble wrap used for packaging. He loves to pop this stuff. So I figured I would take some fun shots on ways to pop this stuff. Introducing...our high flying, Matrix-like, floatable little man!
It has been a busy year so far. So busy that I am finding it hard to take a photo every single day. We just got back from our family vacation in South Carolina so I have tons of pictures to share from that trip. I'm hoping things slow down after this vacation and I can capture and share Cameron's special moments. Stay tuned for more photos!
Anne had to work late today so we went home and made blueberry pancakes. I had my little helper in the kitchen and he had a good time. Here he is mixing and eating our creation.
We slept in today since it was a holiday and we were tired from the night before. We did visit all of the grandmas and grandpas today. At the end of the night, he wanted Steak n' Shake. I think that is his new favorite place to eat.
We picked Cameron up from his dad and got ready for fireworks at the city park. It was hot and muggy, but he was excited. Here he is playing and watching fireworks.
Today he had to go with his dad. His cousin Micah came along for the ride. While we waited, I kept them entertained dropping a doll through the sunroof.
After doing yard work tonight, Cameron came outside to play paddle ball. Mommy joined us and it quickly turned into a dodge ball match. Here are two photos from playing tonight (extra photo because I did not take one yesterday). As you can tell he just got done eating and drinking. This kid is messy. Also notice the four watches he is wearing.
