Well..I forgot to take a photo yesterday, but today made up for it. I had my first engagement photo session today and Cameron went with me. The session was for my cousin who is getting married in November and I shot on locaton at their friend's farm. Cameron was amazed by the tractors and actually played around with some of them. He had an eventful day. Again.. I could not post just one photo. Here are three!

Tonight Cameron was really into his Thomas the Train toys. He has not played with the set in a long time and he was hard at work putting the tracks back together.

Tonight we met Anne's parents for dinner. Cameron was his hyper self again and ate lots of food. When we got home, he was still hungry and had mac n' cheese before going to to bed. Here he is messing around with the broom and watching mommy walk into his room before bedtime. Sorry for all of the black and white photos. I seem to like them better that way.

I had the day off for President's Day, Anne had to work, and Cameron went to daycare for their Valentine's Day party. I picked Cameron up at noon and we met mommy for lunch. My brother called and asked if we wanted to go sledding since Indiana has been bombarded with snow this month. I had bought Cameron 2 sleds this year and had not used them. It would be his first time sledding. From today's photo, you can see he had on his snow suit. He was ready! We got to the park and he was very excited. I went with him the first time down a little hill and then after that he wanted to do it all by himself. We then headed to the big hill and again he wanted to go by himself...so I let him. He had so much fun and I was proud of him. It was an eventful day and he actually went to bed early.

Anne and I drove back from our stay in Louisville and picked up Cameron in Indy. As soon as Cameron got in the car he said "Happy Valentine's Day Robert". We were glad to have him back and we had Valentine's day presents waiting for him at home. One of the presents was a giant card from mommy.

Today was a good and bad day. We don't like being away from Cameron, but he had to go to his dad's this weekend. Anne and I stayed at a bed & breakfast in Louisville this night and we had a good time. We just needed to get away and relax for Valentine's Day. In the morning, Cameron and I went downstairs and he rediscovered some old toys.

I'm having a hard time just posting one photo of Cameron. As soon as we got home from daycare, Cameron wanted to wear a hat from our church New Years party. We also had to get ready for Little Dragons karate class. The first photo is Cameron in his karate outfit, wearing the hat, and eating a Valentine's day snack cake. After karate (which was very interesting), it was bathtime at home. I decided to snap some more photos in the tub.

Anne had to meet our pastor after work today so I had to pick up Cameron from daycare. On the way home he kept on asking me if I wanted a ring. We got in the door and he told me to close my eyes and no peeking. He comes out of the kitchen with a bag of ring pops. I forgot we even had those. I gave him a ring pop and he asked me to marry him. After his ring pop, we sat on the floor to do a breathing treatment. He has coughing all day so hopefully it doesn't get any worse. Here is Cameron asking me to marry him.

With Anne being sick and me having a hurt ankle, we decided to order Papa John's tonight. We ended up eating on the floor in Cameron's room because he wanted us to eat at his make believe house. Here is Cameron eating pizza.

Decided to take a bedtime picture after a long day. Bedtime is usually peace and quiet unless Cameron feels like getting up every 10 minutes. He was tired this night and never got up.

Over the weekend we all went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum so Cameron could see the Barbie exhibit. Yes..he likes Barbies and I am okay with that. If they make him happy that is all that matters. He actually had fun playing at all of the exhibits and we spent about 3 hours there. I cannot wait until he gets older and takes more interest in science. I think we were all tired after this trip. Here are four photos from the museum.

I decided to post two pictures from this day. The first is Cameron relaxing after taking a shower in the morning. The second is Cameron at Little Dragons karate class. He was hyper this day and had a hard time sitting still and listening. The karate instructors are very patient. Watching him in karate class wears me out, but he is fun to watch. When I have a bad Friday, watching him in class brightens my day.

Cameron found the 3D glasses that Anne and I used to watch the Michael Jackson segment on this year's Grammy Awards. The glasses actually came with one of his cartoon DVDs. He had fun with them.

our little man Cameron! I started this photo blog as a way of showing Cameron's growth in a year. I wish I would have started a long time ago, but any time is a good time. Cameron is 3 1/2 years old, full of energy, and definitely has his days like any other kid. Through these photos, I hope to show all of the special moments as well as the bad moments. I hope he can look back at these photos when he gets older and remember each one. I will do my best to take a photo of him each day and post it on here. Some photos may include a short description about the day and/or our family. We love you Cameron!
